Last Thursday 5 December we held our second Christmas Concert at Llanishen Rugby Club with over 100 people in attendance despite the onset of Storm Darragh. It was a great start to the festive season and we raised nearly £600 for our charity’s running costs, We are sending a big thank-you to everyone involved.   The evening started with our favourite - Uke Wolves Band getting us in the mood, then the classy Oriana Choir who brought some very traditional carols as well as some cheeky poetry! We were very pleased to announce to our supporters about the success we had with our Community Lottery Fund who have given us £20,000 towards next year’s running costs.   Drawing the evening to a close was the wonderful rock and pop Cardiff Choir with No Name made up of people who had been affected in some way by homelessness. There was much mingling and jingling by the end of the evening as all three musical groups joined together with the audience in singing “We wish you a Merry Christmas” leaving everyone with that warm fuzzy feeling of friendship and goodwill.
