What we do
We provide voluntary services to our community everyday.
Good Neighbours in North Cardiff – GNINC is a charity which was established in 1981 through Churches Together in Llanishen where we were once known as “Llanishen Good Neighbours”. We then became a registered charity in 2000 and we are now known as Good Neighbours in North Cardiff.
Our aim is to enable people to remain in their own homes for as long as they wish with the little extra support we can provide.
We are always welcoming new people who require our services, and we welcome everyone who may need that support from across the North Cardiff area.
Clients can refer themselves to us, or may be referred by friends, neighbours, family, churches, businesses or statutory organisations (e.g. GPs, Adult Services, Hospital Discharge, Police etc.). Click here for referral form
Whether you’re a volunteer looking to be a ‘good neighbour’ as our name implies, or a client who needs support, we can help

“When she said in the car as I took her to the coffee morning, I really look forward to seeing my friends, as sometimes it’s the only time I have a good laugh in the week! I knew it was worth volunteering.”
