As summer draws to a close and the days get shorter many people face the challenges of living alone. By 2034, there will be 1.2 million people in Wales who will experience loneliness. We know there are vulnerable people in North Cardiff who are facing mobility issues, who need help with everyday tasks like taking out the rubbish or just need a friendly ear and a kind word. That is why we are reaching out to our communities in North Cardiff looking for volunteers who would be willing to give up an hour or two each week to help alleviate loneliness.
